Shooting and Fencing Club

Guess What??!

First our school brought in Diabolo Club : [ pic above ]

Now,..just recently,..
The school has added Shooting Club and Fencing Club!!!
Are you excited?I know I am!

Persatuan Menembak Selangor [ Selangor Shooting Association ]:

Shotgun events - Skeet and Trap

For both events, the shooters will find exhilarating excitement in shooting powdering saucer-shaped, clay targets with their double barrel shotgun.
Skeet targets are thrown out from the high house and low house in opposite directions while trap targets are thrown by computer-controlled machines at various angles that are set within certain limits from the pit trench.

Rifle Shooting Events

Rifle shooting is divided into three categories; small none, free rifle and standard rifle.

Air Rifle Event

It does not have the same kick as small bore rifles but it certainly offers a great deal of challenge. It is shot over a 10-metre air rifle range. Each shot costs only a sen [ that's cheap! ]

Pistol Shooting Events

Competitors fire a total of 60 shots at five targets from a distance of 25 metres. These shots are fired in groups of five, each at different targets that turn simultaneously from a aside-on to a face-on position and are exposed for a few seconds.

For more information on the Shooting Club, you can meet Pn. Azita and check it out. It's totally cool, seriously. Try it,..you'll be hooked!

Anyone interested in the Fencing Club, you can get more details about it from Cik Hidayati.

Watch out, boring clubs...the adventure is just beginning to step into our school! =)

The touching memories of an SMK Sekyen 4 student

This video honestly, touched my heart. Mainly, it was the fun the students have that made it seem so unforgettable and their deep friendship shows as they tape their times together in the school before parting ways to start a whole new life knowing that they may never see each other again. The emotions and the bond between all of them proves that SMK Seksyen 4 brings people together and starts friendship from nothing. This happens in every class in school. So, while you're here, enjoy and cherish your life in Seksyen 4 as you may miss it after leaving and never go back through time again.

Teacherzzz

Teachers are often blamed for everything from students marks to the reason students they teach turns out problematic.

Parents of some students who never really study just blames the teachers if the student doesn't score the marks they expect but then gets the results he/she deserves and the class teacher gets the embarrassment when the class is the ' buah mulut' of the whole school and i don't mean in the good way. It's just not fair!! Sometimes, students sabotage their teachers by manipulating their parents mind for their advantage in case teachers complain of the student's behavior so that the teacher gets the blame! Although some do, deserve it for their irresponsible ' tidak-apa' attitude towards their duty as a teacher, 80% doest deserve the bad egg thrown at them.As a student and in my point of view, some teachers definitely had it coming but the others doesn't deserve half the dose of what they get for their amount of dedication besides personal problems.

And if there's that, they would surely have the ," I hate Pn. Chua! She gives too much h/w " and " Pn. Chua!!! >sigh<>Who is ever as lucky as I am to have sucha great Sej. teacher like her....She's he best!Go, Pn.Chua!

Each students have the ' criteria ' when deciding whether or not they think a teacher rocks.

1) "Teachers?Bor-ring!!Show me one that doesn' t actually make me sleep. Then, I promise you I will pay attention in class."
2) " Teachers should listen to students more than they expect the students to listen to them! "
3) " They should clone En.Muhammad.He's the best.Totally cracks the whole class up. He's hilarious, a great teacher and knows how to punish a student best."
4) " My Sci. teacher skipped Chapt. 4 when i was Form 3 because she said , " You know more than I do".
5) My teacher treats us like babies, even if I am still in Peralihan!

*Statements mentioned above is purely fictional and may or may not be the truth.

Actually, though, no one can deny that besides friends, teachers play one of the biggest role in determining if students enjoy their day in school or not. Some teachers just causes the students to go like , " Eh!Cikgu siapa yg tak datang hari ini??"
" Cikgu ......... dan ..........."
" Ish!Kenapa pulak Cikgu ....... yang datang dan Cikgu ....... tak datang??Cikgu yg hancur je selalu masuk kelas! "

That often happens in my class. But just because they say the teacher " hancur " doesn't make he/she so. Most probably he/she never reached the tough criteria-standards of the students.

I can, even if I won't, name a few of teachers that is so bossy, they suffocate you with rules.
Sure, everyone live by rules,..but that doesn't mean you [ as a teacher ] boss the students around just because you have a cane in your hand, the entire book of rules-and-punishments in your head and the' pangkat ' or ' power ' as a discipline teacher.
Learn to handle things "The En.Muhammad Way ". He is funny and embarrasses you in public if you disobey but he is kind and considerate as a teacher. He is a discipline teacher and the only one that has so far proved that you can be a discipline teacher and make it to the top of a student's favourite list.Nearly the entire school is afraid of En.Muhammad, the teacher that could tame even the most obstinate and difficult students, but my friend and I have more respect for him than fear.

Leaving the ol' life to greet the bigger, new one

i think that my skewl life is totally great,...I mean, my friendz,..teachers..
Okay,...maybe not entirely the teachers so that leaves my friends and a few cool teachers.
I am really outgoing [ hehe, not bragging, though ] so that is an advantage when it comes to making friends. When i first came here, there were scarcely a mouthful of students that came from my previous school. I finally let that go and started making new friends.

Now, in my class [ 2E ] , I know everyone and it is as important to me as it is to have breakfast, to know every single person and get connected with them. I dunno,..i guess its just me to make friends.Sort of a purpose of life. One of the things I really appreciate this school for is the fact that the ex-pengetua [ the best one ever ] , Pn. Tan Wat Eng makes sure that each class is multi-racial so it wouldn't be ghetto in any way. It helps to be open-minded when mixing with my friends' point of view especially since many of mine come from different races. So its a great thing that our school doesn't really practice racism which happens quite a lot in many schools.

Sometimes when I am down[ not literally ] or when I am feeling so bored with the teachers that I wouldn't mind stabbing myself for the littlest fun of it,..its my friends that keep me going.
Jennifer, our friendship is rockier than any mountains as she has a bad habit of debating pointlessly for the littlest opinion. Should probably grow up to be a human-rights-lawyer or something like that. But she has been the one who has been with me through thick or thin. She's the type of person I could count on.
Sathwinee, the book worm of our entire group. She's so obsessed with edu. that she firmly stopped liking a guy because of his disgraceful percentage. Also the shyest, she prefers to be invisible when getting stuck in a conversation between us and the huge network of friends that she is an alien to.
Umi,
Mr. Bean and the type of person who really cracks me up whenever I need a laugh. Really, really, really, short but she's in the first class and i'm not [ damn it! lol ]
We share tons in common, like for instance, waking up late in the morning and then rushing like a tornado, our totally " gaped-by-millenniums " parents that never seem to understand the life we teenagers wanna live in. I will be telling stories from home and she'll be like," Oh!Yea...My mom did that too..I mean why do they do it just to deliberately annoy and embarrass us??..."

There are sooo many more that if i start about them,...it'll never end and worse, bore you to sleep [ lol] ... But all of us came from different schools and yet like the other hundreds of friends I have, we get along. We're all just so lucky to be in this school together as not all of us will be together till Form 5 and we juzz wanna have as much fun as possible.
This school sort of brought us together and I would never be able to thank it enough. It showed me some totally unique people that i wouldn't forget. If it weren't for this school, I wouldn't have finally found someone who appreciates my sarcasm, Umi the quirky gal, Jenny, the Miss-Goody-Two-Shoes-and-Heart-Of-Gold, Sathwinee and Ee Vonne, Beatrice,..gosh there's a list....Rock on, Seksyen 4...as the fate that brings friends from all over together..

Luv skewl or Luv it not??

I don' t really admit to most ppl that i luv skewl...
You cant like go up to a person and say , " Hey!Don' t you just luv skewl??"
I don't have to be a fortune-teller to predict their 'Omigosh-which-planet-is-she-from?' or ' she-must-have-a-rusted-brain-to-think-like-that ' or ' I -thought-people-like-her-was-extinct-long-ago ' reactions...
Their skeptical expressions just states the obvious : Students just can't wait to get home from school.

Students=Hates school
School=Studies, homeworks, exams T_T

Of course, that gives me absolutely no right to judge the entire school of by what I have heard many of my friends say or complain.
Some of them go like, " Ay-ay-ayy! Exam sucks to hell...Crap,.school is sooo miserably long "
The others go like, " Exams actually prove the point of going to school. It gives a chance for the nerds to stand up to the rest with something that gives an advantage for their namesakes. " or " Exams, teachers, homeworks? What the heck, that's life. At least the toilet is as clean [ uhm..?? ], as the students are great here.
=)

Conclusion: School is great if you know how to live it.
